4. TRANSPORTATION:
AIR: 10 minutes to Orange County Airport, 20 minutes to Long Beach Municipal Airport, 40 minutes to LAX, and 40 minutes to Ontario Airport.
BUS: Orange County Transportation Authority serves industrial and residential areas.
HARBOR: 20 miles to Port of Long Beach and 30 miles to Port of Los Angeles.
HIGHWAYS: Interstate 405 (San Diego Freeway) ties Fountain Valley into the entire Southern California Freeway network.
RAIL: Spur line located 11/2 miles east of industrial area.
TRUCK: Numerous truck lines connect Fountain Valley with all points in California & United States.
5. INDUSTRIAL SITES:
There are 450 acres (almost 9%) zoned for industrial land uses with about 20% vacant and available in parcels ranging in size from 1 to 80 acres. Included in this acreage total are 5 industrial parks or districts. The terrain is flat. Drainage is good. Subsoil is silty sand and piling is not required for average residential structures. Sizes of water mains range from 6 to 16 inches and sizes of sewer lines range from 6 to 96 inches.
