ANNUAL SENIOR EXPO A SMASHING SUCCESS

Nora Webb, the Community Services Supervisor reported that the 6th Annual Senior Expo was a huge success with over 60 vendors and 600 attendees. Ms. Webb goes on to say, "our mission here at The Center, is to strive to serve the senior community with programs, services, classes and most importantly, to keep our seniors well informed".

Today’s Expo did not disappoint with vendors and exhibitors ranging from home health-care services to estate planning to travel information.  The Center at Founders Village 6th Annual Senior Expo, a major fundraiser for our senior programs, is an annual event you will not want to miss. Check out the City’s website at www.fountainvalley.org for information on future Expos and other upcoming recreation events.

Also, making his appearance for the first time is FREDDY VALLEY, the Recreation and Community Services Mascot. Look for Freddy Valley at future events and make sure you say hi!

  Meet and Greet Lunch Program

Lunch is served on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Noon. Senior’s 60+ years pay a $2.50 donation and 59 years and under pay $3.50 per meal. Reservations are not necessary unless there is a special event or celebration. The menu is printed in The Center Piece monthly newsletter, see above for link.
