Mr. Galvez is a graduate of the University of California, Irvine and a California Licensed Professional Civil Engineer who brings to the City over eleven years of private and public civil engineering experience. Mr. Galvez oversees the Civil and Traffic Engineering Division of the Public Works Department and serves as the City’s liaison to the Traffic Advisory Committee. Mr. Galvez also serves on several technical advisory groups with agencies including OCTA and Caltrans where he represents the City’s interests on a wide range of regional transportation policy related topics.

Steve, a graduate of the California Polytechnic University, Pomona brings over 18 years of public service to the Fountain Valley community. His multifaceted role with the City helps protect our community’s important environmental resources by ensuring our regulatory compliance with a myriad of county, state and federal environmental programs. Steve also provides administrative program support for the Public Works Department, is a member of the City’s Disaster Preparedness Committee, and serves as the City’s liaison to the City’s franchised waste disposal company.
