On February 11, 2012, the Fountain Valley Community Foundation in partnership with the Fountain Valley Recreation and Community Services Division will host the annual Anytime Fitness 5K Fun Run (previously called Fit to be Square 5K). The event supports over 30 Fountain Valley non-profits and 100% of each runners registration fee goes to the non-profit of their choice. In 2011 the event was able to generate over $18,000 for the participating non-profit organizations! This year Anytime Fitness has generously sponsored the event as the Event Name Sponsor. Their involvement is certain to add to the fun and excitement for both the runners and spectators. You wont want to miss this years event! The Anytime Fitness 5K Fun Run goes rain or shine so be prepared.
12 and under Challenge!
Following the 5K there will be a free obstacle course for children 12 and under.
Registration!
Register online at www.fv5k.org before noon on February 4 for only $20 per runner and be guaranteed a t-shirt! After that, registration will increase to $30 per runner. As you register, you will have the opportunity to designate which non-profit receives your registration fee. There are over 30 local non-profits to choose from including the Fountain Valley Community Foundation which is the event host. Walk in registration is also available at the Fountain Valley Recreation Center.
