Sign Code Update

In the continual effort to help the business community in Fountain Valley to prosper, the Fountain Valley City Council has recently adopted changes to the Citys Sign Code. These adopted changes include a new administrative sign permit process to streamline the permitting process, a reduction in sign permit fees, and less overall sign restrictions. Senior Thanksgiving Celebration

The Center at Founders Village Senior and Community Center will be hosting a Thanksgiving Luncheon on Thursday, November 17, 2011, from 11:30am to 1:00pm. After 30 years of service in the Fountain Valley Police Department, Police Chief Paul Sorrell will retire on November 16, 2011. Holiday Trash Collection & Street Sweeping Schedule

Rainbow Disposal observes the following holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day.
Trash collection for Veterans Day, Friday, November 11 remains unchanged.
Thanksgiving: Thanksgiving Day is on Thursday, November 24; therefore, trash service is delayed one day to Friday, November 25, and Fridays collection to Saturday, November 26.

Community Development Block Grant Funds Available

If you are a nonprofit organization that assists low income Fountain Valley residents, you may be eligible to receive funding under the City of Fountain Valley Public Service Agency (PSA) Grant Program.
