Do not place Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) in the trash.  Bring it to the Orange County Household Hazardous Waste Collection Facility located at 17121 Nichols Street in the City of Huntington Beach.  The facility is open from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. There is no cost for the service.  Acceptable items are as follows:


  • Paint, varnishes, solvent and thinners

  • Household cleaners

  • Pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers

  • Automobile fluids

  • Oil and gasoline filters

  • Aerosol products

  • Expired medicine

  • Consumer Electronic Devices (TVs, monitors, computers, keyboards, phones, games, etc. – all items containing circuit boards)

  • Fluorescent bulbs

  • Mercury thermometers

  • Batteries

2nd business on right

From Golden West St:
Travel east on Warner Avenue
