Register as a Vendor or Contractor with the City
The City of Fountain Valley encourages companies to pursue bidding opportunities with the City by registering your company on the City of Fountain Valley eligible Vendors/Contractors list. The City of Fountain Valley Purchasing Department maintains a list of Vendors and Contractors by commodity code; we invite all responsible suppliers to register as a bidder by completing the Online Supplier Registration Form.
To add your company to our list, click on the link below to register online. Please be sure to identify the proper commodity code(s) when completing the form. If a commodity code is not selected your registration form will not be accepted.
Records of interested and responsible Vendors and Contractors are maintained by the Purchasing Department. Once your registration has been received and approved, you will be added to our eligible Vendor/Contractor list. All Vendor registrations are valid for 1 (one) year at which time you will need to update and/or confirm your information. Contractor Registrations must be updated each year on November 1st. Completion of the form is not a guarantee of being notified of every quotation or bid for that particular commodity or service solicited. We may also contact firms that are not in the file of suppliers. Failure to respond to bid or quote invitations may result in the removal of your firm's name from the Vendor/Contractor list.
All Vendors/Contractors are required to update their business information annually. Failure to update your registration annually will result in your business being removed from the eligible Vendor/Contractor list.
