General Plan Advisory Committee (GPAC)

The City of Fountain Valley is assembling a General Plan Advisory Committee (GPAC) to advise the City on the topics and issues addressed in the General Plan. The GPAC will serve as an important channel for the community to provide input and make recommendations regarding the General Plan Update. The Fountain Valley General Plan will address the following topics: land use, mobility, open space, conservation, public safety, noise, housing, community design, economic development, environmental justice, and community health and wellness.

The City invites individuals interested in participating as at-large members of the GPAC to submit a Statement of Interest for City Council consideration. The at-large members will be selected to represent one of the four (4) geographic quadrants of the City. The City Council is scheduled to make their selections at the October 2, 2018 City Council Meeting. Interested persons who are not appointed to the GPAC are encouraged to attend the GPAC regular meetings and provide their input during the scheduled public comment period.
