Proposed Land Use Plan

In early 2021, the City Council and Planning Commission reviewed the draft land use plan during public study sessions. This draft land use plan was generated to comply with state requirements to accommodate 4,839 units of housing while maintaining consistency with the community's vision and the City's fiscal goals. The City Council authorized City staff to initiate the environmental assessment and associated technical studies to better understand potential impacts of this draft land use plan on traffic, water supply, air quality, schools, and services and resources.
