Fountain Valley Police Department in conjunction with other city departments, participate in the Emergency Operation Center drills so that we are prepared as a city should we undergo a catastrophic emergency. We also train to prepare for a city response in the event we are inundated with providing emergency or long-term assistance to our neighboring municipalities.
In the event of a real catastrophic emergency, we would like our community to be informed as soon as information is available. We encourage the community to sign up with AlertOC by texting the word ALERTOC to 888777. You will then receive Orange County emergency alerts.
The Fountain Valley Police Department website has additional information on Emergency Preparedness and link for local services.
