The City of Fountain Valley is proud to announce the installation of 14 electric vehicle charging stations at 6 facility parking lots including the Senior and Community Center, Tennis Courts and Park N Ride Lot at the Recreation Center, City Hall (West), City Hall (East), and the Corporate Yard. As part of the City's efforts to help reduce harmful air pollution from exhaust emissions.

The EV Charging Stations are available for public use, at a first-come, first served basis. The cost is $0.20 per KWH until vehicles are fully charged. Once vehicles are fully charged and have not been removed, there is a $5.00 penalty cost with a grace period of 30 minutes to get back to the vehicle before penalty fee takes into effect.

All charging stations are on ChargePoint networks and can be accessed through the ChargePoint App. The ChargePoint App helps located charging stations available nearby and sends notifications when your car is done charging. By creating a free ChargePoint account, you can find charging stations everywhere you go and start charging your EV right away!
