It's that time of year again!
National Night Out Day is observed annually on the first Tuesday in August. This night focuses bridging the gap between the community and law enforcement agencies by raising awareness on issues that affect communities both locally and nationally. Every year, Fountain Valley Police Department joins forces with thousands of communities nationwide to host "National Night Out."
National Night Out is designed to: (1) Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness; (2) Generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime efforts; (3) Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships; and (4) Send a message to criminals letting them know neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
The City invites you and your family to join us for to celebrate this awesome night. There will be tons of displays from the Fountain Valley Police Department, West County SWAT, K9 demonstrations, The Fountain Valley Fire Department and Fire truck, Neighborhood Watch, Neighbors Helping Neighbors, children’s fingerprinting, Orange County Volunteer Clowns, games, and much more.
