The Fountain Valley Community Foundation will be hosting a free Fix It Clinic at the Fountain Valley Recreation Center on Saturday, September 14 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. This is a guided do it yourself clinic.
E-waste and Shredding
The Fountain Valley Community Foundation, in collaboration with Fountain Valley Recreation Center, will be hosting the fall E-waste and shredding event on Saturday, September 28 in the parking lot. E-waste will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. or until truck is full, while shredding is held from 9 a.m. till noon, or when the truck is full. Thank you to Republic Services for sponsoring the shredding event.
Hyundai Hope On Wheels 5/10K Run for Hope
Every day, approximately 1 in 43 kids will be diagnosed with pediatric cancer. Join us at the Fountain Valley Sports Park on Sunday, September 29 for the Annual Hyundai Hope on Wheels Run 4 Hope 5k/10k, where we will raise funds and awareness in honor of National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
USAPA Western Regional Pickleball Tournament
The City of Fountain Valley Community Services Department is excited to turn Fountain Valley into “Pickle Valley” from September 18-22, 2019! The Fountain Valley Sports park will be opening its doors to host the Home 2019 USAPA West Regional Tournament with over 1000 Pickleballers expected to be participating! Come out and see players from all skill levels battling it out to see who takes the title of Regional Champ.
