Fountain Valley Sports Park to Host the Fall Special Olympics on November 9 & 10

Join us as we cheer on the athletes at the 2019 Special Olympics Fall Games on November 9 & 10 at Fountain Valley Recreation Center & Sports Park for soccer, softball, tennis & volleyball, and at the David L Baker Golf Course for golf. The Games will attract more than 800 athletes from across Southern California who will compete for gold, silver, and bronze medals and ribbons! Admission is free and open to the public. Opening Ceremonies at the Sports Park begin at 8:30 a.m. and will feature the Parade of Athletes, live performances, and the lighting of the official cauldron to open the Games on Saturday, November 9. Please come out and support these extraordinary Games and the athletes.

Join us on Thursday, November 21 at 11 a.m., sponsored by Fountain Valley Regional Hospital, for a Traditional Thanksgiving lunch, live entertainment, festive decorations, and opportunity drawing.

The Center at Founders Village and Recreation Center Holiday Hours

The Center at Founders Village  and the Recreation Center will  be closed Monday, November 11 in observance of Veterans Day, and November 28 and 29 for Thanksgiving.
