The City of Fountain Valley is excited to announce that the assistance levels for the Home Improvement Program have increased!  We have also added a new program, the Disability Modification Grant, to assist eligible Fountain Valley homeowners with ADA-compliant improvements.  We hope that these changes allow the City to further our mission to preserve and enhance the City’s housing stock and to provide a safe and decent living environment for our low-income residents.

Grants:  No repayment is required! Available on a one-time basis only

Single-Family Homes:  Up to $14,000!

Mobile Homes:  Up to $11,000!

Disability Modification Grant (single-family homes and mobile homes):  Up to $5,000!

Rebates:  Calculated at 50% of the total project cost

Single-Family Homes:  Up to $7,500!

Mobile Homes:  Up to $5,000!

Low-Interest Deferred Loan:  Simple annual interest rate of 3%

Single-Family Homes:  Up to $50,000!

If you live in the City of Fountain Valley and your total household income is less than the income limits below, you may be eligible to participate.
