The City of Fountain Valley will be on a modified trash collection and street sweeping schedule due to the Christmas and New Year holidays.
In observance of the Christmas holiday on Friday, December 25, 2020, trash collection will be moved to Saturday, December 26, 2020. In observance of the New Year holiday on Friday, January 1, 2021, trash collection will be moved to Saturday, January 2, 2021. Please remember to have your trashcans out at the curb by 7:00 a.m. on the day of your collection.
In observance of the Christmas holiday on Friday, December 25, 2020, street sweeping will move to Tuesday, December 29, 2020. Street sweeping for New Year’s Day, Friday, January 1, 2021 will move to Tuesday, January 5, 2021. Please have vehicles and trashcans off the street to allow the street sweeper to properly clean the street and prevent trash from entering the storm drain system and polluting the ocean.
