On Monday,
September 11 the City welcomed its new Finance Director, Jason Al-Imam. For the
past three years, Mr. Al-Imam has been the Administrative Services
Director/City Treasurer at the City of Los Alamitos. He has over thirteen years
of municipal finance experience. Previously, he served as the City
Controller for the City of Riverside, the eleventh largest city in the State.
He also worked six years in the performance of financial statement audits of
city governments throughout Southern California.
Jason has lived
in Orange County all his life. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business
Administration from Vanguard University of Southern California. He lives
in Irvine with his wife and two children and is expecting his third child in
October. We welcome Jason to the team and look forward to working with him.
