[ARCHIVED] Message to FV Crossings Subscribers

We are writing to inform you that the City of Fountain Valley is circulating for public review a draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act for the Fountain Valley Crossings Specific Plan Project. Please see the link below for the Notice of Availability.

The purpose of the Fountain Valley Crossings Specific Plan is to provide a new vision and zoning for the approximate 155-acres of light industrial/commercial uses in the southeastern portion of the City of Fountain Valley to act as a guide for future development. The Project area is roughly bounded by Ward Street to the west, Talbert Avenue to the north, the Santa Ana River to the east, Ellis Avenue to the south, and is bisected by the Interstate 405 (I-405) freeway, which runs diagonally northwest to southeast through the Project area.

The 45-day review and comment period for the Draft EIR will extend from January 6, 2017 through February 20, 2017 at 5 pm. In addition, the City has scheduled a Public Hearing for the draft EIR before the City Council and Planning Commission. The purpose of the meeting is to present the identified environmental impacts and for the general public to have the opportunity to comment on the draft EIR. This Public Hearing Meeting is scheduled for:
